Hi guys,
I know next to nothing about bass tournaments. Can you tell me a little bit about ROFB? I am just curious. I saw the great postings about the Okeechobee trip. Was that tournament an amateur or professional event? Are these some of the same types of events I have seen on ESPN occasionally? Thanks, Jeff |

It was a fun tournement Jeff. Twice a year members of this NG get together
for a few days of fishing. Yes it it a tournament, yes it does have cash prizes, but definetly not what it is all about. Anyone who posts to this NG can join in either or both of the tourneys that we have each year. The next one will be the North Woods Classic in WI in September. Boaters and non boaters alike are welcome to attend. It's a great time and puts faces with the names that you see here if you hang around enough. I have been to 4 of these Classics( boy time fly's) already and look forward to many more, some of the nicest people I have ever met. I;m sure the other's could give you a little more insight about R.O.F.B. so pull up a chair and welcome aboard. Randy- "Jeff Durham" wrote in message ... Thanks for the information. Sounds really cool and now I get what ROFB
stands for (rec.outdoors.fishing.bass). Jeff "alwayfishking" wrote in message ... It was a fun tournement Jeff. Twice a year members of this NG get together for a few days of fishing.
