Does anyone know if there is a rod holder that is designed for the bed of a
full-size truck? I have previously just thrown the rods in the back flat on the bed but now that I have started to purchase more expensive rods I am reluctant to do that. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Pat_RI |

I've found that foam water pipe insulation works great. It comes in
different diameters and lengths. You can buy it at any home improvement store at a very reasonable price. If you happen to have an extra long rod, additional lengths can easily be glued to suit what length you desire. And if you really want to get fussy, ends can be glued on. I also include a "velcro tie tab" for additional security....... and label each with a light colored plastic tape. Hey ...It works great for me. Papa John. "Jerry Barton" wrote in message ... Try some 3" PVC pipe with a screw on cap. "Pat_RI" wrote in message news:w4PHf.88424$4l5.8102@dukeread05...
