I just wanted to share what is a pretty damn good day for me.
Namely, that my son has successfully completed his second and final tour of Iraq, and is now back in the states. Here's a link to some pics he took during his first tour: http://www.agekko.com/iraq/index.cfm?fuseaction=gallery Where, among other things, he ended up on then ambassador Negreponte's traveling security detail, seeing many more countries, than just Iraq. His duties on the second tour involved traveling around the region transporting terror suspects to a central location. Just between you and me, I'm proud that he served and did his duty, and doubly happy he's no longer in that morass. And hope that soon, sensible people come to power in this country, and no other parent has to put up with this BS. Skwala |
