Living in the last house on a dead end rural road has lots of advantages,
but good phone lines and connections to the Net aren't one of them. After months of problems with one ISP I'm switching to one that doesn't seem to have a news server. I'm pretty sure I can live without UseNet and it without me g but are there other ways to access it besides your ISPs server ? |

Lots of pay Usenet servers out there... Also google has a web interface.
I use teranews free server. $10 setup charge never a fee again afterwards. Its not great, but hey what do you expect for $10 for life. "Larry" wrote in message ... P.S. There are tons of totally free ones that allow you to read, but not
post. "rw" wrote in message ink.net... Larry wrote: Living in the last house on a dead end rural road has lots of advantages, but good phone lines and connections to the Net aren't one of them. I have access to multiple news servers. I've found that Google serves
my purpose just fine. Frank Reid |
