I just returned from a delivery trip to Los Banos, Ca. and took a detour on
the backroads of the Sierras on the way home. Beautiful country and I have posted a few shots on abpf. This trip gave me an opportunity to check out my Garmin Legend C GPS receiver. Had no chance to read the manual as it arrived the afternoon before I left Indiana. But Iowa, Nebraska and Wyoming gave me plenty of time to play with it and actually got to where I could get the thing to work. Great fun! Will put it to good use on the John Day river in Oregon next month. Frank Sr. |

There amazing little gizmos. I am glad I dind't buy an expensive one.
I can't learn all the bells and whistles on this one. Adjusting for inflation I have paid more for a couple of compasses than i did for my Legend. |
