Default trolling motor batteries replacement

After 5 1/2 years of 4 - 5 days a week fishing ,constant recharging and
now having to add water to cover the plates once a month , I guess its time
to bite the bullet and buy a couple of new ones. What brand do you guys
recommend .??? Interstate- Delco - Sears- Ever start
The ones that came in my Champion say "Deep cycle" and that's all
Thanks

You definitely want to stay with deep cycle batteries, They are designed to
be drained and charged on a regular basis.

Last year I bought Optimas and so far they have been beautiful.

I've had great success with Delco. I don't always treat them right but
they've always taken care of me. I do lots of electric only lakes in NJ.

I also have had great luck with Delcos. One lasted thirteen years of
steady use. Bought the new one last year.

I'm about 10 months into a set of Sears Deep Cyle Marine/RV and they are
workign better than any other battery I have tried so far. I did go from a
group 27 to a group 29 and I had to change out my battery trays so they
woudl fit.

Heck, I reccomend upsizing to group 29s or better yet 31s no matter what
brand you get.
