Aside from that rather odd blip on Wednesday, it looks like "normal" may actually happen soon! /daytripper (might just have to check this out first-hand...) |

Checked it out for you. Very fishable....couple of brookies and a half dozen rainbows between 6:00 & 8:00 PM. *Very* few Sulphurs hatching....no rises. All fish caught underneath on Midge larvae and a #18 BHPT nymph. Water has been very warm (72+) due to the overflow. Was back down in the mid/upper sixties tonight, but could creep past seventy in the heat of the day. I have no idea what that blip was all about. I took a ride by the spillway, and it appears they put up a partial set of flashboards. Maybe they increased the flow from the bubbler to increase the flow from 57 to 91? I hope we don't get a lot of rain over the next few days. With all the brookies in the river, I get a little nervous when the water temp gets over seventy. |

You may as well, 'cause I'll be damned if I've been able to. Freakin' job. ;-) I'm going to try and get out sometime Sunday, and someday mid-nextweek if things still look good. -- TL, Tim --------------------------- http://css.sbcma.com/timj/ |
