This is still up on TSA's site, even after it's been updated with the new restrictions on liquids: http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtrav...rial_1188.shtm I would definitely call your airline, refer to the TSA site, and hope for the best. Greetings from Coeur D' Alene Idaho, where I flew from Indianapolis to Spokane via Chicago on Saturday 8/14. I went through security at Indy and O'Hare (place needs a designated smoking area). Three rods in their tube and reels in their cases were carried onto United Airlines flight. The TSA screener in Inday asked me what I had in there and that was the extent of the questions. I would say that Northwest told you wrong. Oh yea, the fishing's been pretty good out here. |
