It has good strength, it holds up well and I like the way it casts. I've tried other lines, but keep coming back to PowerPro. I use 10, 30 and 50 pound for my bassin' duties, 65 and 80 for muskies. -- Steve @ OutdoorFrontiers http://www.outdoorfrontiers.com G & S Guide Service and Custom Rods http://www.herefishyfishy.com |

ps.com... First, the magic marker idea for fading was a good one. I will give that a a try. What braided line do you use and why? Stren Super Braid. Its very smooth, casts well, and is very limp. I flip with 50 lbo and 65 lb, and thorw crankbaits and spinnerbaits on 20 and 30 pound. I also like 30 pound for weightless plastics in light cover and open water or around docks. -- Bob La Londe Fishing Arizona & The Colorado River Fishing Forums & Contests http://www.YumaBassMan.com -- Posted via a free Usenet account from http://www.teranews.com |

news:UvALg.4927$ub5.3079@trnddc07... Bob, you crank with braided line? Please fill me in... Yep, Usually 20lb braid. Medium Moderate St Croix crankbait rod. Works great ripping through grassbeds. Not bad in the trees either. A slow gently pull will usually retrieve a crankbait that gets embedded in s branch by strightening the hooks. In open water I switch to mono on a spinning rod though. I tried 30 lb and they just don't seem to cast well and get down where I want them.
