Default Bill, Etc.

Hi Jonathan

There are few here that were not breast feed so they take it out on everyone
else.

I use to be here all the time but it just isn't the same kind of forum it
was years ago.

I have spent 41 years in the tackle business helping people have a good time
fishing and now I even do it at night time here at my home on the Internet.

I do get nice emails from really wonderful people who appreciate my advice.

I don't get Bill Kiene's posts here on my direct news feed,
but I do see them on google groups. I don't understand why
he's getting flamed on his recent posts, I find them pretty
funny, especially some of his recent sig edits. (although,
Bill, you might want to check the existence of some of
your web-site-name edits; they're really out there!)

Bill, I for one always enjoy it when you pop in to ROFF,
and I'm sure there's others out there who enjoy it too.

Don't give the naysayers any thought. If everyone in the
world likes you, there's something wrong with you ;-)

Jon.

OBROFF: Hmm...nothing 'cept by year's end we'll have second
place in the all-time highest recorded yearly precipitation.
There's flowers in the desert that nobody's seen in 40 years.
Should mean good things for the water table on all the nearby
trout streams, too. I'm itchin' to make a run to the "local"
trout stream, or at least go try for some carp. Maybe soon...
RW, good luck on your elk hunt. Save some fur patches for
gifts on your next trip down to the SJ ;-)

OBPolitics: starting to circle choices on my voter guide...
as always, coming out around 50-50 D/R -- even looking at
nat'l/state/local separately. The whole supposed national
mood swing hasn't changed any of my choices. For me it's
not about party, but about the individual running for the
office. Our system is incredibly efficient at preventing
efficiency; I remember 8 years ago reading on ROFF how all
the public land would be sold off and how our trout streams
were going to be trashed. So really, was there much change
out there in your neck of the woods over the last 8 years?
Not in mine -- though yes there were a couple of things
that popped up that caused me to write letters. But the
wheels turn slowly...
