Default Limber & Abrasion Resistant Line ?

Not Seaguar. I have used 12lb Seaguar CarbonPro for this niche in my
fishing arsenal for a while and its ok, but its just a bit too stiff to
handle well on the tackle I am using for it. It catches fish, but it
requires constant attention to the tackle instead of the line and bait.

Any suggestions. I actually like Suffix Seige mono very much in the 10, 14,
& 17 pound tests I have tried it in so far, but I don't think its all that
abbrasion resistant. Perhaps that just because I lost a fish a week ago on
it in open water after horseing him up out of the grassbeds below. Maybe it
is and I just need to give it another chance for this application.

Its a short line technique (most of the time) so the low stretch of flouro
carbon is not that big a deal, but the fall rate is very important so if
there was another flouro carbon that was a little more limber I would
certainly consider it. Maybe I'll drop Maxima a call and see if they will
send me a sample spool of their 12 pound. I just love their 8 lb for drop
shotting. In fact their 8 lb is as strong (or a little stronger) than
Seaguars 10 pound.
