Default rod socks

How many of you use rod socks . Do you prefer them to storage systems?? What
brand do you use if you use them? Cost? .I bought a storage system and I've
used it for a couple of years and have never been completely happy with it.
I heard about a brand of rod socks called stor's it and I figured if
anyone could tell me about them, somebody in this group could .....
As always
Thanks for your time

I use Stors-it rod sleeves, and actually ripped out the rod storage
system that was in my G-3 when I got it, because it limited what I could
put in the single rod locker. With the system, it was 7 rods, period.
With the rod sleeves, I never have a hassle getting the rod I want out,
and I never have tangled rods, even though I keep all mine, plus half my
my son's rods when we do Champlain, in the same locker. I guess I have 2
flipping sticks, 4 casting rods (sometimes 5) and 4 spinning rods in
there most of the time. When my kid is with me, it might go up by
another 3. (The rods he doesn't have sleeves for stay in the external
rod holder next to the passenger seat).

The stors-it sleeves are more expensive than the typical nylon socks,
but because of the thickness and cushioning effect of the material they
are made of (perforated Naugahyde type stuff) they offer a degree of
protection rather than just the elimination of tangles than the thin
ones accomplish.

Use them... the Bass Pro Shop ones, and love them.

I couldn't find them on the bass pro web page but I think I'd like to try
them out too. I found them at Cabelas for about $5 each. I may pick up a
dozen or so myself.

But they're probably the same thing as the Cabelas ones. I forget that not
everyone lives next door to a BPS. LOL

The best rods socks are the vinyl ones from McCoy.
