![]() I came across three landlocked Salmon Streamer Patterns tied tandem. I was at a museum and saw the flies and they are from the area that I fish. I find no mention of them in Bates / Streamers and Bucktails. Any help from the following patterns would be helpful. Lake George / Fouth Lake / Adirondack Smelt / I took the recipe down so I can tie them up. These where on a card saying that they where custom tied from Goldstocks Sporting Goods, in the 50's or 60's a friend of mine Rudy Romania used to work there in the fly tackle dept back then, the only problem now is he is fly fishing in heaven.......... -- Fishin Technician ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Fishin Technician's Profile: http://www.njflyfishing.com/vBulleti...hp?userid=1806 View this thread: http://www.njflyfishing.com/vBulleti...ad.php?t=12058 ----== Posted via Newsfeeds.Com - Unlimited-Unrestricted-Secure Usenet News==---- http://www.newsfeeds.com The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! 120,000+ Newsgroups ----= East and West-Coast Server Farms - Total Privacy via Encryption =---- |
