Yay-ussss, the BoSox pull another record breaking victory!

I bet the Sox take it in 5, with a total scoring margin of +15 runs.

That's bookie lingo Dave,
I'll take the Underdogs in 6.
And for tonight's total I'll take the under 8.5. Beckett is just too good,
and southpaw Francis won't be giving anything off the "Green Monster"
Forecast is 60% chance of rain.

Reminds me of a Leno joke, during one of his monologues....
Leno - "It was so windy in Los Angeles yesterday."
Audience - "How windy was it?"
Leno - "It was so windy in Los Angeles yesterday, I saw a dog stick his head
out of a parked car."

Tarp is off the field, weather looks a bit shakey, with luck Fenway won't get
too soggy tonite. But it's gonna be a chilly evening - nothing like the ALCS
which was played in near-balmy weather.

Sox win in 6.
They could do it in 5 but it's more fun to close it out at home ;-)

My grandson and I were heading to the drag races in NH this evening
with his dad. Three Audis to run. However, the rain has canceled
that one. So, gonna send out for Chinese and sit back and watch the
game (hopefully) with my grandson cheering or moaning depending on the
situation at Fenway. Joanne is in NJ, poor girl.

I've noticed that Leno has, seemingly consciously, avoided that Carson-
style joke. In fact, even when it seemed like a natural flow, he'd do
the joke a different way just to avoid the "How hot was it?" straight
line from the audience. I actually admired him for that. Carson was
great; and I'm sure Leno wants to not steal his schtick.
