It shouldn't be necessary to add that while in theory it is easy enough to extend the courtesy of welcoming differing beliefs to everyone, as a practical matter doing so all too often leads to mischief. It shouldn't be......but it is. On this, we appear to agree. Where we differ (and here you are in good company.......um.....well, a lot of company, anyway), is in that your methods of dealing with the inevitable unpleasantness that arises in such a freewheeling, democratic forum meet with my wholehearted and unequivocal approval. ![]() Wolfgang who also misses......some people. ...as usual, your unique and complex expression simply confounds and humbles. i've always appreciated that. keep it up. but, alas, i think the talent of forcing reflection is diminished greatly when delivered with silly names like moron and idiot, or ****bag or asshole. better to hold up the mirror than affix a label...much more effective in my opinion. my disagreement with methods often has nothing to do with the rightness of the cause. Holding up the mirror without a simple and easily understood label affixed leads only to childish mugging and vacuous smiles. Granted, the literacy problem makes the labels somewhat superfluous......for the time being.....but, baby steps, ainna? First we teach them to read.......then we show them where to pin the tale.
