for whales in Nebraska (and Oklahoma). Why do I live in such a
backwards state? Just the other day, I was thinking that this would be a good time to get my 7' 96 weight and nab one of them suckers at the hole in the ice (love them krill flies), but NOOOOO! Time to head to a more enlightened state, like PA... Oh, by the way, for those going to Penns, in certain sections of Pennsylvania many years ago, the Farmer's Anti-Automobile society set up some "rules of the road." In effect, they said: 1. "Automobiles travelling on country roads at night must send up a rocket every mile, then wait ten minutes for the road to clear of livestock." 2. "If a driver sees a team of horses, he is to pull to one side of the road and cover his machine with a blanket or dust cover that has been painted to blend into the scenery." 3. "In the event that a horse refuses to pass a car on the road, the owner must take his car apart and conceal the parts in the bushes." Also in PA, no man may purchase alcohol without written consent from his wife. Guess its not just Nebraska. Frank Reid |

![]() "Frank Reid" wrote in message ... 1. "Automobiles travelling on country roads at night must send up a rocket every mile, then wait ten minutes for the road to clear of livestock." this is precisely why it took Shaw and I over 3 hours to return to the Clave Central on the first Raffle night. We no longer wait for the livestock to clear, but try to shoot the rockets off, whenever possible. 2. "If a driver sees a team of horses, he is to pull to one side of the road and cover his machine with a blanket or dust cover that has been painted to blend into the scenery." In fact, two of the retired fishing cars are disguised in just such a fashion after I abandoned them, roadside. 3. "In the event that a horse refuses to pass a car on the road, the owner must take his car apart and conceal the parts in the bushes." seems a reasonable request. Also in PA, no man may purchase alcohol without written consent from his wife. I think such permission is implied within the contract of marriage. I'll take it to court, with wayno as my lawyer. For most of the true whales, you need a #64 krill imitation, or, if you find that tough to tie onto the leader, you can go with a #28 diatom cluster. Tom |

Tom Thanks for that but I pretty much stick to Orca. Helluva lot of fun on light tackle and they'll hit a dry. Your pal, TBone |
