w,w,wOT... world traveler question

I see that many public toilets in China are being changed to the western
"sit on" model for visitors to the Olympics .... and ... I've seen pictures
of "squat" toilets in various countries, including one's I plan to visit.


MY question ( and trust me I thought about this for some time before
posting, as I'm sure this must be a very stupid question ) ... my question
is ... how do people with only one leg, or, like myself, handicapped and
having very limited ability to bend a knee ... use the damn squat toilets
without grave risk of ... well, ... you do your own visualization.
