Default Land locked Salmon. The good cubic feet per second ?

Hi ! Very soon, the fly fishing for landlocked salmon will go on in the
Ausable river in New York state.Someone told me, long time ago ,that the
most important point to check for start fishing this salmon, is the
*cubic feet per second water flow.* So i found a web site that give the
real time discharge and Gage height for this river. Does someone know
the right range of the cfs water flow to check for the landlocked
salmon?? Any help will be very appreciated.
Thanks

cassisfan, I think that the most important factor is water
temperature, not water flow. I've fished extensively for salmon
around the Great Lakes and when the lake water reaches a certain temp,
the salmon start heading up-river - regardless of the river temp or
flow rates.

O.k., here's the problem in a nutshell. Despite the ballyhoo surrounding
the promise of "gene therapy" the yield thus far from all those billions of
dollars spent on research is an undeniably impressive body of
knowledge......but precious little in the way of useful clinical
applications. Bottom line is that your family's heartbreaking defect in the
green side up gene bids fair to doom all of you forever to something more
menial and less intellectually challenging than laying sod. Sucks to be
you, I guess.

Wolfgang
who knows from a lifetime of observation that being stupid is, in and of
itself, not all that bad.......it's being not quite so stupid as to be
unaware of one's stupidity that lies at the heart of all the problems.
