Those of you that have been around for awhile know how much we look forward
to this tournament each year put on by Steve Huber. But, those people that are new or the ones that are just lurking should really try to attend this event. It's an event that gets you hooked from the start. There's no worries about being "good enough" to fish a tournament, because we only use the word tournament just to give it a name. You get to put a face to the names of posters you've seen in here over time, and it's some of the BEST reoccuring friendships you can enjoy. We try to do this at least twice a year, (the other being in Tennessee) in the Spring. Every year the NWC is held in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, this year it's Sept 4th & 5th and a lot of us get so hyped up we get there a few days early just to catch up with friends, I've even acquired a couple of adopted type sons from these things, (they're fighting over custom rods & reels). We've all struck up lasting friendships at these things and had one hell of a great time doing so. If it's at all possible for any of you to attend please try to make it and have some fantastic food, drinks, laughs, and a little competition. Contact Steve for all info. |

I've got to agree with Jerry about the Classic. I'm bummed that I can't make it this year and thus will not see and fish with some great people! I'll miss spending time with Ronnie, Jerry, Charles, Gill, Heavy, Pat and all the rest of the guys. Some are quiet, some are characters, but all are good people! The time spent on and off the water with this group is time well spent! Dan |
