Looking at the real name and a picture list of FB-roff members I see that I
don't have a clue who many are ... relative to their ROFF screen names There are some here on AbUseNet-roff that I have interest in, find amusing and informative etc, and might request to be 'friends' with ( friend is a very loosely used word in modern culture, ain't it? ). Some others, I most certainly don't want to encounter anymore than I already do. ( I'm sure I'm on many 'don't like' lists too ) I guess that if I don't know someones real name already, I should just assume I'm not interested in them or that they aren't interested in me, but, nonetheless, I'd like to know Who's Who before I try to add, and remove, from my FB 'friends' list I also see some no longer posting roffians here and there on FB. In a couple case they are people I enjoyed here very much. What is proper and correct, asking them for 'friendship' or assuming that if they had any interest in me I'd already know that? Advice for the 'Networld socially handicapped ? Larry L ( who finds Face To Face friendship easier to understand than FaceBook friends ) |
