Default Fishing Guides

We have utilized the services of guides on several occasions and with
pretty good outcomes each time. Basically our rule of thumb is that
if it's an area we do not know, we will be there a relatively short
time, and we can find a guide that is well recommended, we feel it's a
pretty good investment for a day or half day. We use the trip to get
further along on the learning curve than we'd probably have time to be
otherwise. I am sure many could relate to spending a few days at a
lake where even with doing as much advance research as possible, it's
tough to get going for a few days. You start catching fish about the
time you get done. Anyway, we decided as one way to help folks out
we'd start putting together a directory within our site to help people
locate guides. We have no relationship with any of them and are
accepting no advertising dollars for their listings. Right now we are
putting the finishing touches on guides for the lakes of Missouri and
Northern Arkansas and have those listed. If we can be of help visit:

http://family-outdoors.com/Fishing_G...Directory.html

We are asking guides who'd like to be listed in these areas as they
are brought on line to let us know and they'll be included. As a
caveat, we encourage our readers to use the information provided to
thoroughly and independently research the guides they plan to use. We
have used some of the guides listed, but will stay out of the business
of acting as a referral service.

Once you catch a bunch of fish, use our recipe page which can be found
on the menu at the top of any of our pages to get some preparation
ideas. Our main page is www.family-outdoors.com
