this is a sincere, and breathtakingly naive question: with all this money
flying around, will there be any available for an honest, but poor, trial lawyer who runs a one man storefront with one paralegal? tia yfitons a. wayne harrison, boy lawyer. |

If you are truly poor, yes, you'll get a tax break. I won't presume to know anything about the state of your finances but if I had to guess I'd guess that you're gonna be **** out of luck. Your paralegal on the other hand will probably get a little cash from Uncle Sugar. -- Ken Fortenberry |

HTH, R ....and really, I'd guess, Wayno has more class than to use cash...he seems more the "fine German automobile" kinda guy... |

I'd bet it would depend. I mean, most lawyers are fully-prepared with all sorts of "shovel-ready" stuff, but how are set up for, um, stimulating, er, things...? HTH, R ....FWIW, I'm pretty sure that he didn't mean THAT kind of "change"... |

You wanted change, that's all you can expect, change. Perhaps $0.74, maybe less. I know a place on-line where you can buy a fly for that much, thereby keeping a poor women in Bangladesh employed. ![]() "Larry L" wrote in of the GPA boy I have no idea where that came from .... GDP um, Maybe I do know where it was hiding in the back of my alleged brain My kid has run into a snafu at the oldest university in the West He is scheduled to graduate in May, has way more than enough credits right now, is Phi Beta Kappa, has been in their honors program every semester, and has .... here we go, popping out of my head ... an excellent GPA He applied to graduate months ago before he left to Chile well over an entire semester ago, ... and before signing up any classes for two full semesters Last week someone finally got around to telling him that his AP Calculus imported from high school was NOT going to meet the math requirement ( he's English major with minors in Spanish and International Studies ) even though that is very hard to determine from the info available to the kids ( I read it ) and most of his AP classes ARE being counted As the guy that has invested ten$ of thousand$ at "the oldest university in the West" for his education, I'm pretty damn ****ed that his "advisors" never bothered to tell him this when he had plenty of time to include a qualifing course in his last couple semesters |

All considered, and assuming one takes any of this **** on here seriously, it seems unlikely. You might have to sell your "Beemer", live under a bridge, ask Davey boy for mouldy oranges, and endure interminable moral lectures from Dickie boy, while Kenny boy dronmes in the background about queers, racists, and so on........... Your unfortunate employee will probably starve to death, or be jailed for tax evasion, unless he is of the coloured persuasion, in which case he might eventually become president. Just remember, it's only a hard life if you don't weaken, and just because the idiots are in the majority, that is not a good reason to subscribe to the philosophy of "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em". Frontal lobotomies are expensive in any case. Lastly, why is a lawyer asking such loaded questions? TL MC |
