Default OT Texas talks of secession

The governor of Texas says Texas might want to secede from
the Union.

How can I help ? Do y'all want me to sign a petition, donate
some cash, maybe host a bake sale ? You name it and I'll be
more than happy to help.

And hey, Texas, watch out for that door.

I can tell you that many in Texas, and those with interests in Texas, myself
included, wish Perry would secede from the governor's office...and hope that
this term will be his last in any form of elected or appointed office...

HTH,
R
....well, OK, if he wants to run for dog-catcher of Terrell County or
something...

I could go maybe for partition. But would that make Austin kinda like
post-war Berlin? There are more than enough scammers to fill maybe
2/3rds of the state. I can tell you this: it would go a ways to
cutting Medicare costs, in that as a retiree, the majority of scam-
mail I get on Medicare and pharma stuff comes from Texas, some printed
to look like it comes from the Federal govt.

They have some bizarre laws protecting scammers and consumer cheaters
in Texas. The principal funder for the "swiftboat" liars were Texas
builders who have cheated literally thousands of people and brought
and paid protection money to the Texas legislature. These guys do
Ponzi schemes for recreation. Most are big contributors to the RNC and
Whackjob Incorporated.

nah....that would make for a longer fence....

john

Well, maybe, but Texas would probably build it - to keep the rest of the US
out...I can hear what they would be saying - "we don't need no gol-durned
redbacks sneakin' across and takin' air joubes..."

Just to make it perfectly clear: Perry does *not* represent
"normal" Texans anymore than GWB represented "normal" Amurrcans. He's
getting ready to run for re-election, so he's pandering to any and
everyone who he figures he can steal a vote from.

Chuck Vance (who'd love to hear what The Kinkster has to say
about that)

Hold on to your money. It took another tumble today and some of its
