Hi All,
I have been looking over http://www.flytyingworld.com/flyindex.shtml for a Caddis nymph pattern. I am not finding anything I like. What I am after is the next best thing to reaching into the water, grabbing a Caddis fly in its rock cocoon, pealing the cocoon, and sticking the ugly, indignant little bugger on a hook. Mainly, I am look for a black head with a cream colored body. Does anyone have a suggestion? Many thanks, -T |

I also like ovipositing patterns, fish it hopping, little hops, bouncing and touching the surface, in the moving water, in the dusk. Try it with a dab of flotant, in the early morning, drifting in the meniscus. Pay close attention as the first cast is the most likely to draw the strike. Dave |
