Need Caddis nymph suggestions

Hi All,

I have been looking over http://www.flytyingworld.com/flyindex.shtml
for a Caddis nymph pattern. I am not finding anything I
like.

What I am after is the next best thing to reaching into
the water, grabbing a Caddis fly in its rock cocoon, pealing
the cocoon, and sticking the ugly, indignant little bugger
on a hook. Mainly, I am look for a black head with a cream
colored body.

Does anyone have a suggestion?

Well, duh, TIE a black headed cream colored worm. Or simply google
caddis nymph.

Then, of course, there is the dreaded Green Rock Worm which works
everywhere. Google is your friend.

And, remember, use your imagination and think SMALL.

Go buy yourself some "trigger nymphs." in pink, green. If that stream
of yours has caddis it is reasonably healthy. I also like ovipositing
patterns, fish it hopping, little hops, bouncing and touching the
surface, in the moving water, in the dusk. Try it with a dab of
flotant, in the early morning, drifting in the meniscus. Pay close
attention as the first cast is the most likely to draw the strike.
