Plan a big year of fishing -week in N.C. mountains in April--three
weeks in SE Utah in May- perhaps two weeks in Montana {if my knees hold up } in July ---and lots of local fishing from kayak ! After 15 years of throwing my fly onto water and hoping I have decided to learn how to cast! Do truly believe that 10 percent of the fishers catch 90 percent of the fish so plan to up my percentage. Need some advice --I plan to practice casting 30 minutes three times per week for next two months. { old shoulders would not take more } Should I use Lefty Kreh's DVD--thumb or rod-don"t break wrist-- keep elbow level or do you experts have any other suggestions. Probably should have done this before paying a guide in New Zealand who said --There he is - a good brown over by the tree -FORTY YARDS AWAY--- a little short - want me to put your fly out there for you?
