Default OT - Davey Crockett - Fess Parker RIP

Perhaps I am showing my age but I did have a coonskin cap and I loved Davy
I was right there in the wilderness w him instead of being in Brooklyn
We used to sing the Davy Crockett song on the way to school

Fess Parker also had a winery
Great stuff
The Pinot Noir is smooth
About $20-$25 a bottle but worth it

Born on a mountain top in Tennessee......

I had the coonskip can, the pink (isweartagod) Davy Crockett shirt,
AND the shorts......with the lucky rabbit's foot.

Being raised by Southern Baptists...it was a rare treat indeed to be able to
stay home on Sunday evenings and watch the Wonderful World of Disney.

Fes Parker took *me on many adventures....

....but I now wonder, was that Walt Disney's sneaky way of trying to get me
to miss Sunday night church...?

Probably. Disney WAS.....and remains.....the devil
