O.K. guys, are any of you using large swimbaits for bigger bass (LM or
SM) this season? I just started tossing 6" & 8" Huddlestons, along with a 6" Stocker Trout Baby Bass and a 5" Optima swimbait. No hits yet, but from all I've read, it takes time! Trying to find a local source for a couple of 6" BBZ-1's, but it looks like only Tacklewarehouse is stocking a decent selection. |

My tournament partner throws a lot of 3-5" paddle tail swim baits and does pretty good. When we have a limit he just throws the larger ones, but until then he throws whatever size matches the bait fish. He gets plenty of bites on them. |
