CT River Striper Tournament

In conjunction with Riverfront Recapture, Connecticut Outfitters is hosting
a Striped Bass Tournament to benefit "A SPORTING CHANCE" which encourages
Hartford's young "Not-Yet-Fisherpersons" (KIDS) to begin a good, healthy,
fishing habit. Visit our website for details or stop by the shop to
register. $25.per adult. Tourney dates May 22nd & 23rd.

In addition to the tournament, we support "A Sporting Chance" by collecting
used fishing equipment and tackle of all kinds (even broken things in need
of a little TLC). The donations are cleaned and repaired and put into the
hands of a Connecticut Youngster who might not have the means to acquire any
gear. Get on board and bring us your old stuff!! The kids will really
appreciate your generosity. Thanks in advance!
