1. fish are very clever

2. traversing campus in the rain between classes is a royal pain in the
ass- sitting in the rain fishing is a minor annoyance

3. dishes breed

4. my fingernails will likely not again be clean the rest of the summer

5. my car will likely not again be clean the rest of the summer

6. you shouldn't drink too much coffee before goin fishin

7. fish are gorgeous

8. (some) men are impressed by a woman who can tear a worm in half and put
it on a hook-(" law, i ain't never seen a girl do notin' like dat dar" )

9. other fisherfolks are friendly people, and generous with advice

10. fishin line can be found layin around in all kinds of places around the
house

11. fish blood is easier to get out of clothes than human blood

12. between totin around my bike, fishin gear, fiddle, and dulcimer, i'm
gonna need a bigger vehicle

Those pasty ole thangs? Brook trout (in September) are the creme de la
creme of piscatorial beauty.
