This was my second clave at Penn's and thought i would offer a few things i
hope i learned

1 Don't stay up all night drinking wine and listening to Wayno strumming and
singing of old lady loves when you have an 8 hour ride to Penn;s next day
2.
Don't hold a fly in your lips while adjusting your indicator. --a barbed
hook projecting thru your tongue makes it hard to yell for help.
3Don't pull out in AM to fish with Jeff Miller without packing a lunch--you
won't be home till late late PM -thought i knew that!
4 If you were raised as an indian, cowboy, or southern gentleman to respect
womanhood and waitresses don't go into a family restaurant with Dave PA for
dinner.
5Don't expect much fish catching during the day [ clave average 2 plus or
minus] because the fishing only starts at 8:23 Pm when the bugs [many]
and the fish [many] appear till dark 9PM.
6Don't step beside a 5ft rattlesnake [six rattles and small button] when he
crosses trail on island behind CR cabin--i let him have right of way
7 Don't confuse Aside and Wolfgang--they are both short but one looks better
that other one
8 Don't play poker with a man who brings out chips with his initial on
them. [he also raises when i am trying to buy a pot--very bad taste ]
9Don't reminisce late at night with Roger the Swede-- he claims there is
only one fat woman in Sweden and then wants to sing folk songs [it sounded
like Alabama bullfrogs trying to call a mate] also don't get in a casting
contest with him ]
10 Do remember to say thanks to a fun bunch of guys who were willing to
share their food, drinks, stories, try to help and elderly indian catch fish
and even bait my hook after dark.
So says Indian Joe

That fly in the tongue trick makes me cringe. You're lucky it didn't
happen with the one of the big stonefly nymphs out west. I'll be
*really* sure I crimp all my barbs from now on. g

You forgot: Don't believe an Indian plus a Pollock with a GPS can find their
way thru the woods at night.

Seriosly; You, Jeff, and Roger can not be topped for fishing companions.

Thanks for the report Joe. Hope to see you in Montana. Don't expect me to
play poker with you - I don't care whose initials are on the chips.

It's 8:25, no wonder you kept missing the hatch...

They sell it by the keg down there ?

Ole IJ either has an active imagination, is getting taken by his wineseller,
or was starting his poker bluffing a little early on Mr. Ohlund and was
claiming he had $60 wine....

Was it that $2.95 a bottle red wine I left at the Carolina Cabin?
