Fisherman,
If you would please take a minute to fill out this survey about what you like better, it would be greatly appretiated. This will be used for a class project that I am doing. 1) How many G. Loomis rods do you own? 2) How many St Croix rods do you own? 3) What gives you the overall best product? 4) What company prices their products the best? 5) Which Company has the best variety of products? 6) Is their anything special you would like to tell me about your G. Loomis or St Croix fishing rods? Thank you, your answeres are very beneficial, and will help out a ton. |

Thank you, your answeres are very beneficial, and will help out a ton. 1) One 2) Two 3) Depends on for what I'm using it. 4) I actually have more BPS rods, than any other brand, though I also have an All-star that I like a lot that I use almost exclusively for spinner baits. 5) I love my Loomis and both my St Croix rods. All three are fly rods. (A GL3 9' 6wt, Avid SCIII blank 9' 4pc 5 wt and Legend Elite SCIV blank 8'9" 8 wt for bass bugs, big streamers and Clousers.) I have 8 bait casters from 5'6" MH custom to 7'6" flipping stick, 9 Spinning rods from 4'6" micro light to 7' MH, 6 flyrods from 7 to 9 ft and 3 to 8 wt, 2 crappie rods - 9 and 13 feet, and 6 ice rods from 16" micro light to 30" MH, and no offense, to David, but none of them are Daiwas.(I do dearly love my TDZs)..Most of their actions are slower than I prefer and I've never found the price to be all that great, comparing similar blanks. They are flashier than I usually get, though. Of course everyone has an opinion, this is just mine. Maybe a better question would be, what rod in a given price range and/or for a specific application do you like? I likely wouldn't buy a St Croix Spinning rod because I don't like their reel seats, but I wouldn't buy a Daiwa, Berkley, or Mitchell fly rod if all of mine were broken.
