Default Comments on Royal Wulff Steelhead Line?

I need to spool up an 8 wt for Coho fishing this fall. I am a RIO guy
through and through but the fly shop I go to also carries the Royal Wulff
brand and they say it is better than Rio. I am looking at the steelhead in
8wt or the plain triangle taper.

Does anyone have any comments on this line? Thanks

Just to point out that you aren't talking about a delicate type of fishing.
So long as you don't intend to use it on salt water, the line makes very
little difference

Why couldn't you use it in sal****er ?

Cheap lines tend not to hold up to sal****er use, so I've been told.

Ok. I don't really know if this is true or not. But the poster
is thinking of using a Wulff triangle taper line and those
aren't cheap.

That's what I meant-- not much call for going high end on an eight weight
that you'll be doing alot of chucking and ducking with.
