![]() "Bandelo" wrote in message news:lJlLc.28345$SD3.4136@okepread06... I used to live on a lake in Southern Florida and would fish every other weekend with a neighbor. I was recently relocated to Southern California where there is NO water, let alone any fish, unless I want to drive 2 hours into the mountains. I have several very nice freshwater rods and reels in excellent condition that I would like to sell. Could someone please tell me the best site to advertise my gear? E-Bay or newsgroup or other website? I'd try local tackle shops first but there may not be any since you're so devoid of fishing. Second, I'd try an ad in the newsgroups or local forums for fishing. Maybe a CA.Forsale newsgroup. Finally, I'd try ebay. I would be willing to hear what you have. I'm always looking to buy more stuff. ![]() Christopher |

Castaic at Santa Clarita, Pyramid on I-5 North of LA, all the San Diego lakes. And lots of Salt water to fish. Those bass poles and reels are great for calicos and sand bass. Just rinse after fishing. Bill |

Some great fishing in all of them. Let's see now, he lived on a lake but fished only every other week end. Now he is giving up fishing because of a one or two hour drive but has so much fishing gear he needs a place to sell it. Yep, sounds kind of strange........ Jerry |
