Grab the Aug-Sept In-Fisherman for Rich's article on Bubba Shotting. Once
Steve sees that article look for him trying it on Muskies in Wisconsin as
well as bass. ;-)
Ok, maybe that was an exaggeration. Check it out! Joe Z.

Rich Zaleski knows and willingly shares more fishing knowledge & general
common sense than anyone I know. I feel that exchanging thoughts, stories
and ideas with him here is an absolute honor. He is my fishing idol, and my
#1 authority on most everything!

I agree - now if we can only get him to one of our tournaments so he can
kick our butts...

That being said, just being in the boat with Rich and watching him
fish is a learning experience in itself. If any of you ever get the
chance to watch him work a Fin-S fish around the weeds at Mudge, don't
even bother casting for a while. Just watch and allow yourself to be
awed. Perhaps awe is too strong of a word (perhaps not...), but you
will definitely learn a thing or two about soft jerkbaits.

One of the things I appreciate about fishing with Rich is the dialog.
Ask as many questions as you want, but be prepared to answer as many
as you ask. Rather than give you a direct answer, he is more likely to
get you to answer your own question. He understands that, as with most
other problems, there is a certain satisfaction to figuring it out an
answer on your own. You are also most likely to retain what you have
learned this way also.

Geez, I'm rambling. I didn't realize that Mr. Z made that much of an
impression on me. I'll shut up now.
