KEY LARGO - The 11th Annual Original Florida Keys Ladies' Dolphin
Tournament will be held this weekend, Aug. 6-8, with tournament
headquarters at the Sheraton Beach Resort Key Largo.
Registration starts at 5 p.m. Friday at the Sheraton. Entry is $120
per angler, according to the Key Largo Rotary Club, sponsors of the
tournament.
The Original Florida Keys Ladies Dolphin Tournament is one of the
largest ladies only fishing tournaments held annually in the Keys.
Saturday, Aug. 7, is the fishing day with lines in at 7 a.m. Anglers
must be in line at weigh-in by 5 p.m. The official weigh-in is at
Snapper's Restaurant on Key Largo.
An awards banquet will be held at the Sheraton Saturday night. There's
a total in cash prizes of $3,750 for the top anglers and a $1,000
bonus for any angler who beats the tournament record of 55.8 pounds.
In addition, the top 20 anglers will receive over 200 gift items For
