Default My best investment, thus far..

Second only to my medium action rod & reel has been my boga grip. I
bought it and finally got chance to try it out. Makes handling the fish a
lot easier with no risk of dropping it. I landed two in about an hour on a
Rat-L-Trap(bleeding red shad with red hooks, well if you count the time I
was using that lure, it was more like 5-minutes). A small 1/2 lb'r and a
damn good fighting ~2 lb'r(just under). He jumped the whole way in despite
me trying to keep him down.

Sadly..I lost the lure by the end of the night...but at least I knew my
investment was well worth it.

Your not allowed to use that up here, it'a against the law on my lake. I
even put the net away. Half the fun has been hooking a fish and then trying
to lip it at the boat, but if we are using any type of treble hook baits, we
can make an exception :-)

Oh I always get them out of the water before using it..it's just so I can
handle the fish without dropping it or ending up with a 3/0 hook buried in
my hand. But rules are rules...
