I haven't been posting here as much lately but am back deck now. I think the past two months have been the most tumultuous of my life.. started a new full time position with Umpqua (Not sure if I'll guide much this summer) and headed off to meet Melbourne show, where had the pleasure of meeting Stephen Welsh. I lost my Dad (The guy who taught me how to catch a brown trout with a worm when i was 5) during this time and then last weekend I took the big plunge and married a very gullible girl. We had the ceremony on the banks of the MOhaka River on Poronui Ranch and it was everything I could dream it to be.
for those interested i have posted some pics at www.dryflynz.com/wedding Regards Clark |

By the way, thats a very pretty catch. What fly did you use. More importantly, what "line?" "Hey beautiful, watch as I wrap the butt three times and whip it!" Welcome back. Though I'm upset that you didn't invite your long lost half brother to the event. -- Frank Reid Reverse email to reply |

I'll still be doing a few days at Poronui guiding, but am glad I wont have to do the amount I was. Having said that, I will have more time to actually fish, so you get a fishing compnaion instead of a guide and it's cheaper, but you have to buy the beer... maybe not cheaper ![]() Clark |

I've been pretty much away for a while also. Really sorry to hear the bad news. But the good news is great! And those pix are wonderful. By the way, I still have your CD in my car and it's usually in the changer. It draws regular compliments. Now, curiosity is killing me: why is the red hut so famous? :-) Bob |
