Ok it is the morning after the final day of the NWC and it is hard to put
into words the experience. First of all , everyone I met was awesome. I
don't think you could have a more laid back sincere group of guys in one
place all with a common interest (fun).
I want to thank Steve & Janet Huber for the opportunity he gave me to meet
everyone and be able to fish with a truely great group of guys. I want to
thank Kevin Hare for being a great room mate and a great fishing partner.
I want to thank Dan for being a great fishing partner on Day 2. I had a
blast fishing with both of you guys.
I want to thank Warren for helping me with my mindset when it came to
preparing for a tournament or even any day fishing for that matter.
I would like to thank everyone else for just being genuine and easy going.
ALSO! I want to thank Boom lake for chewing on my prop 3 different times yet
not taking it completely from me, I cannot wait to get it to the repair
shop, thank you Boom Lake!
I know people say it every year, but really if you are missing these things
, you really do not know what you are missing. It went to fast for me, but
I am glad I got to spend 4 days with a great group of guys. Congratulations
Gary and Ronnie!

Take care all, I cannot wait for Tennessee!

Gotta watch those props, Chris. I lost one myself last year, and I'm sure
you heard of Jerry Bartons woes...

Jerry has to pay better attention to his GPS. I got him almost up to
the big stump field by driveing the same course Steve showed me.
The gap is his and others downfall :}

There's now a Northwoods Classic "The Barton Award" on my wall. I'll post a
picture later on ABPF.

I made it home late this afternoon, (without running out of gas Harry), and
I'm already making my plans for the MTC. I thoroughly enjoyed each day with
everyone at the NWC, new friends and old, and I can't wait for some of you
new guys to make the next Classic, to see that friendships and conversations
will resume exactly where we left off at NWC. For those of you who have
never made one of these Classics, you owe it to yourselves. Again, thanks a
million to our gracious host Steve and his beautiful wife Janet, who each
year make the NWC a memory to carry with us.

Hey Jerry,
I never got a copy of that Garmin software from you. If I send you
money for postage and the CD could you cut a copy for me. I would
like to try it and see if it would be worth buying the chip for my
182. Sorry about all those props. I hit a bunch of stumps while
idling but my 4 blade SS prop held up.
