Hi all,
I'm a scale modeller wanting to model a Minn Kota Endura 30 transom mount trolling motor. After a lot of Google searches, the only dimension I can find is the shaft length of 30". Now, I'm assuming that 30" is from the center motor pod to the center of the handle on the controller at the top of the shaft. If so, then is the overall height of the Endura 30 about 36"? Just looking for comfirmation of my assumption. Thanks in advance. Ken ---- Ken Hartlen (aka. Did you try a Minn-Kota search Ken? They have a great archive of past

Hi Steve,
I searched all through the Minn Kota website (http://www.minnkotamotors.com/index_noflash.asp) with no luck finding the info I'm after. I realized my first attempt is too big for 1/35 scale when I placed it with my 12ft skiff. http://members.aol.com/kwhcoaster/Skiff/MinnKota30.jpg http://members.aol.com/kwhcoaster/Sk...aWithSkiff.jpg I scaled the motor assuming the 30" was from the transom mount to the center of the motor pod. Its better suited for 1/24 scale boat, so I'll save it for another project. The Minn Kota motor I saw at Canadian Tire a couple months ago seemed quite tall so I really didn't give it a second though. But now I'm thinking it probably was a bow mount motor. I didn't look too close at the time since I was planning to model a 2HP Honda BF2 outboard, but Minn Kotas are simplier to model. The Honda BF2 is 37.25" tall, so I'm thinking the Minn Kota 30 is about 36-37" tall as well. Ken ---- Ken Hartlen (aka. Henry & Steve, thanks a lot for the help.
I'm all set to calculate the other dimensions from the profile photo I have. Ken ---- Ken Hartlen (aka.
