I'd rather apologize on ROFF than fish with a three forks rod once,
much less three times

I guess my news server screwed up..eh.

Say what you will, I really like those rods. Nice action, and easy to
cast. you ever tried one?

(plus their cheap enough to buy lots of backups. What more could you
ask?)

Yes just like mine did that day, hence richies 3x posting. As to the
other issue you raise, the post is a continuation of an on going debate
which till now has not flared in a while. I hate the rods and yes i've
played with them. but i hate them more because I consider Cabelas and
Bass Pro shops to be the wal marts of the fly fishing world. For some
reason other folks here like them and so be it.

Yeah, I hate cabelas and BP shops too, but for a beginner with not much
money, or someone that just wants a decent rod for a cheap price, their
alright. I would much rather shop at a nice fly fishing store, and I do
usually.
