Default Went fishing!

I posted last week about my last bass of 2004. Finally managed another
trip today, weather unusually mild, even for north Texas. Hit the small
pond, as it was too windy for my puddle jumper. We've had lots of rain
and the tank runneth over. Fished about 2 1/2 hours, and couldn't figure
out what they wanted, if anything. Spinners, crawdads, worms, jigs, I
was throwing the box at them. Only caught one fish, on a Pop-R. Yes, a
topwater in January. Hope this doesn't represent what I can expect from
2005.

Maybe I should also post about my last bass of 2004. Unfortunately, it was
over two months ago.

Seriously, I'm glad someone's able to get out and catch something, on a
topwater no less. What's the water temp down there?

I didn't check at that pond, but local lakes are 55º to 60º

That's better than anything I've caught this year. Only thing I've caught is
a cold!
