51 POUND CATFISH

Just last year in September. While fishing top water for bass. Using a
blue back chugbug. in approx 3 foot of water. The lure went down, like
it hung on a tree branch or something. I said to myself, time to get out
of the boat. i'm not loosing that lure. About that time a hard jerk.
"What" a fish, no way. Started coming up. i though it was the light
bress pushing me out to deeper waters. after bout 5 minutes it hit the
top big catfish. What a fight. Caught on 14 lb triline line fennwiek
rob, old Johnson century reel.

Whatever you do, please don't disclose where that happened. If you do,
Catfish Charlie Summers will take off immediately to jump in on the action,
and we won't see or hear from him for weeks after. His obsessive passion for
Mr. Whiskers even exceeds his needs for food & water... that boy is hooked!
