Thanks Mike,
Just watched the Slide Inn video. We will most likely stay there for the
Western Clave.

When is the Western Clave? I have a friend who owns a cabin in Island Park,
ID who rents in out in the summer. It is about a half hour drive from the
Slide Inn. IF you let me know the week, I'll see if it is available. BTW the
cabin will sleep nine, has 2 full baths, washer/drier, and sat. TV. It is
located 1/4 mile from the Henry's Fork.

john - july 9-16. we did one at island park a few years ago. most
folks camp, and a few of us who like warm showers and soft beds find
alternate accommodations. last chance/island park is a bit too far of a
drive for this one, imo.

Thanks for the heads up Jeff. Fortunately, I had contacted them a couple of
days ago when Warren posted and they saved me a room (no kitchen). Hopefully
one of you kitchenetters will allow me to beg coffee in the morning.
Other than that, all I need are M&M Peanuts, Fig Newtons, Kipper Snacks and
bourbon for the trip (along with all the other fishing paraphernalia).
See you there! By the way, where are you staying?...aroma of coffee,
Guy

IJ adds--Kelly of Slide Inn says the fish counters came thru two years ago
and found 38 pair of large trout in the gut behind the Inn. I think Jeff
Miller caught each of them last year when we stayed there.

I was usually on hatch late or one foot short on my cast but enjoyed
fishing with only a 39 foot hike to water.
