Default Off to College Again

Yup, I'm off to Bassmaster University this weekend in Harrisburg, PA. It's
still very much winter here in SE PA, so I'm excited about being lectured by
the likes of Denny Brauer & the others. Anyone here going to this session?

I talked to a guy that's been to these classes before, and he says the pros
keep things pretty basic. He told me I could teach the class, lol, but I'll
still bet I come away with some useful information.

My first tournament is only 3 weeks away, and if the weather indicates
anything it'll be a nip & tuck affair. I doubt the water temp will be out
of the 40's, maybe even the low 40's. I always seem to get skunked my first
tourney of the year, so hopefully I can get a pointer or two to help me
overcome the slow starts. I can't explain it, in fact last year I boated
three beauties in practice on Thursday & got nada on Saturday morning.

Maybe I outta break out the underwear elastic?

My buddy who lives in Kalamazoo gave me a call the other night on his
way home from the KVD seminar right down the road from his house. He
said KVD spent over an hour talking about Jerkbaits, and the rest of it
talking about the tournaments from this season. He enjoyed it, and of
course I was ****ed to miss it. I always have to root for the midwest
boys :-)
