Default how to get rid of fish smell

Hi,

I just caught some fish and fillled them. I washed my hands and the
tools I used with hot water, lemon juice and, of course, soap, but
there is still a lingering smell of fish on all of them.

Is there any trick to *really* get rid of this smell?

Thanks,

TN

Yes there is

It's called, "Fast Orange" waterless hand cleaner, you can get it

from
Auto Zone, for 99 cents for the 8 Oz squirt bottle.

Hi Rodney,

Thanks a lot for the pointer. I will get one ASAP!

Cheers,

TN

The fishy smell haunts us because of the oils in the fish. You wash with
water but the oils cling on. thats why the orange works so well. It cuts
grease and oil.

If you were to use any solvent-ish cleaner you would get the same results. I
like the orange stuff too. but anything geared toward grease and oil removal

As a tip though... stay smell while you are fishing. I feel that fish have
pretty good sense of smell and if you wash with this stuff as soon as you
catch your first fish then handle your bait or tackle with the scent of the
cleanser on you won't get so many hits.

(thats only my opinion though) When Im on the water, I just swish my hands
in the water to get the slime off... and accept that I'll smell fishy 'till
Im done.

Well TN, I'm going to let you in on a secret that I learned years ago,
all on my own and I never shared it before. This is really true, you
can try it and it won't hurt you a bit............Listerene mouth wash.
Afteryou wash your hands normally just take some Listerene and pour it
on your hands and rub it in. Wah la, no more smell. I guess if it
will clean your breath it will clean the fish smell too. Works great!

help in this case also (-: hands and breath included :-)

Cheers!
