I have cod fished on party boats for a long time. We are ready to make the
jump to our own boat.I know the party boats fish Jeffries Ledge off the coast of NH. Does any body have any advise on where exactly to fish on the ledge? Coordinates to decent spots would be great. Is the whole ledge productive? or just certain spots? Any advise would be appreciated. We sail out off the Merrimack river Mass.and have GPS. THANKS |

Richard: I live in Gloucester, Ma. & go to Jefferies Ledge a lot. I'm
putting in my Eastern 24' on Wednesday (4/27) & will be fishing JL this weekend. I'll look @ my Garmin 2006c & hook it up to my computer & give you some coordinates. Also, another idea is to follow some of the party boats. To answer your question, yes....some areas (usually) are better then others, but not always. It's where the holes are!!! I'll get back to you. Regards, Alex |
