Rate these FUJI guides please.
Hi I have been looking at rods. One thing that would be nice to know is the order of all the different Fuji Guides that Ive been seeing. Anyone know out of the below guides the best to worst? FUJI--- Hardloy Titanium alloy Aluminum Oxide Alconite Concept SIC Concept Also on another rod (All-Star) guides are Stainless Steel coated with Titanium how would this rate to the ones above? Thanks

Both are good guides, I like to use the SIC guides when I'm looking to build an extremely lightweight rod. They're pricey but VERY good, durable and lightweight. No such thing as a bad FUJI guide, in my opinion

Rate these FUJI guides please.
Fuji is a very popular brand, especially with production rod makers. But
they certainly are not the best brand, and their Aluminum Oxide and Hardloy guides are prime examples of what not to buy. Look for SiC guides and you cannot go wrong. If those SiC guide inserts are pressed into a Titanium frame, all the better. Remember, quality is always better than quantity. In other words, you may not be able to buy as many rods with SiC guides as you can with AO or Hardloy, but who cares. Rate these FUJI guides please.
On that note , Power Pro is the "only"line that will not wear Alconite
guides. Or so they guarantee! Alconite guides are not made to stand up to the super lines .Only SIC & Gold Cermet will. On a custom rod you can except to pay about $30.00 extra for SIC. The $110 7' Team All-Star has Titanium coated stainless steel.
