Fishing in Brittany France?

Hi, Can you help at all. My husband is due to be in Brest and that region
around July 4th. Have any of you fished that area at all? and can you make
any recomendations?
He is a keen sea fisherman and just wants to know if anyone knows that area
at all and can they recommend good spots. He has to be in Brest on the 4th
and then has a week to head south along the coast so any one who knows about
Quimper, La Rochelle, Royan, Vannes or Bordeaux would be great.
We looked at a couple of french disscusion groups for sea fishing but they
are dead as a dodo. It seems that information for this area is hard to come
by. I don't mind tackle shop recomendations as I could always speak them
direct, not a problem for the language.
