The best bet for the Tees is the Teesside Association, but its expensive as
you have to join a local affiliated club first. For river fly fishing, you want to be in Stockton A section which has some exclusive water on the upper Tees. Teesside association have a lot of water on the upper tees at Piercebridge which is good for grayling on the dry, though 12 oz is a good fish. there are also salmon, of which there usually a few caught each season. The best tackle shop for game fishing is probably Adams in Darlington, though a 'local' stillwater 'Jubilee Lakes' has the very best range of top quality game tackle and accessories on site. The river Wear is a better fly water than the Tees and superb for Salmon (some people manage 20 a season!). The best club for the Wear is probably Bishop Auckland. The contact details you need for all these should be easy to find on the net but let me know if you have any trouble finding them. Ron "H Hudson" wrote in message ...
