Default Measuring Tape Decal

Does anyone know where you can find a decal to put on a fly rod that has a
measuring tape?

Would you like that calibrated in "standard" inches, or "man" inches?

Also, I wouldn't start it at 0, I would cut off the beginning to correspond
to the length of the handle (all the way to the end of the rod). This way,
I wouldn't have to worry about guides and such. If the fish is shorter
than my handle, I don't need to measure it, and the rod end is a convenient
measuring index.

I don't use these tapes, but I just measure against any convenient mark on
the rod, and measure later-- when I remember. Also, the type of rod you
have will make a difference when telling stories. "The 's' in Winston"
has more panache than "the 'k' in Shakespeare".

Don't do it, Frank. It will ruin your fish-on-ground photos.

Tip of the day: Carry a really tiny reel, rigged with any old line,
attached to a short, broken, light-weight rod butt. :-)

On further consideration, I have an even better suggestion. Find the
decal (or make one from a photo of a ruler) and reduce it in size. Turn
that 8" brookie into a certified lunker. You can make stick-on copies at
any Kinko's. :-)

Pictures? We don't need no stinkin' pictures.

Unethical. Prevarication is beyond any competent, gentleman fly fisher.

Much better. I didn't lie, its the camera that always put on 10 lbs.

And for the rest of us (g), remember NOT to include *yourself* in the

to have done away with this dichotomy between ships that can land on a planet,
and ships that can fly from one planet to another." - Senator Bliss Wagoner

I CANNOT afford to even look at that site. You know how much fun with the
local 'gills I could have with that set? Hell with that, have you seen the
tilapia and oscars in your local Red Lobster aquarium? What a blast. Just
go on a Friday, payday night where they keep you waiting for a friggen hour.
Stand on a chair and start casting to the oscars. Little streamer patterns
would work like a charm. I want one.
Hey, Wayne Knight. How many of these do you have?
